Jenn Ortega brings nearly two decades of experience in healthcare administration and practice management to her role at Tendril Therapy. She began her career in the medical field in 2005, holding a wide range of roles including Certified Medical Assistant (both clinical and clerical), Chiropractic Assistant, and ultimately advancing into leadership positions where she successfully managed multiple private practices.

In 2020, Jenn transitioned into the mental health field and quickly found what she describes as her “forever home.” She is deeply committed to supporting clients not only administratively, but also emotionally—ensuring that access to care feels clear, manageable, and supportive from the very first interaction.

​

At Tendril Therapy, Jenn specializes in helping clients navigate the often-confusing insurance reimbursement process. While the practice only works with a limited number of insurance plans, Jenn provides detailed Super Bills for clients to submit to their insurance companies for potential reimbursement. 

​

Understanding how overwhelming insurance communication can be, Jenn offers hands-on support every step of the way. She provides clear, step-by-step guidance, conducts three-way calls with clients and insurance providers, and remains accessible by phone, text, and email. She is also happy to discuss payment plan options when needed, helping reduce financial stress so clients can focus on their healing.

Jenn is also deeply passionate about recovery and addiction advocacy. In 2021, she became a Registered Alcohol and Drug Technician (RADT), further strengthening her commitment to supporting individuals and families impacted by substance use disorders.

​

Outside of work, Jenn is a devoted dog mom to “Brown,” “Black,” and “Mr. Walter White.” She spends as much time as possible hiking, exploring the outdoors, and adventuring with her pups.
